. A notable example of this is our Peaceful Understanding and Reconciliation for Pastoralists Livelihood Enhancement (PURPLE Phase II) project, which brings together women, girls, and youth to advocate for and champion peaceful coexistence in the Moyale area, spanning both Oromia and Somali regions. This initiative has been highly appreciated by all stakeholders for its impactful results, and it continues to serve as a model for community-driven peace-building.

GWEDE is emerging as an influential force for transformative change, driven by a deep commitment to amplifying the voices of marginalized communities, particularly women/girls and youth.
