GWEDE is committed to transparent, participatory, and accountable programming ensuring communities help identify needs, shape activities, monitor results, and give feedback.
GWEDE drives complete accountability by empowering local communities to co-design solutions, guide project activities, monitor progress, and directly shape every response through ongoing feedback.
What we do
Establish community feedback mechanisms, suggestion boxes, and consultation platforms.
Conduct participatory and post-distribution monitoring.
Engage local government authorities and strengthen coordination
Promote the inclusion of women, youth, persons with disabilities, and marginalized groups.
Participate in national and regional coordination, including the CCRDA and the PSEA Network.
Our contribution
improved access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene alongside stronger community ownership, accountability, and sustainable management of WASH facilities that protect the health and dignity of women, girls, children, and displaced populations.
