GWEDE helps vulnerable households, women, youth, and pastoralist communities strengthen their livelihoods and economic resilience moving from dependence toward self-reliance and active participation in local economies.
GWEDE works in drought- and conflict-affected communities to protect vulnerable groups, strengthen climate-smart livelihoods, and restore household stability, helping pastoralist families rebuild self-sufficient futures.

Establish and strengthen women's economic groups, VSLA`s, Women Agribusiness Enterprises, cooperatives, and SACCOs to anchor entrepreneurship, savings, and collective action on Poultry and Small Ruminant.

Support women-led businesses and income-generating activities through Market System Development in a Transformative Gender Approach.

Promote climate-smart agriculture and resilient production suited to pastoralist and agro-pastoralist realities.

Link women and communities to relevant services, finance, and market opportunities.
