WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene)

Access to clean water and sanitation is a critical issue for many pastoral communities in Ethiopia. GWEDE works to improve water access and hygiene practices, reducing waterborne diseases and promoting better health outcomes, especially for women and children

We are proud of our success in delivering clean water to over 2,000 people in Borana and Dawa Zones reducing waterborne disease incidents. Additionally, our pilot MHM initiative will benefit over 100 girls/women.

GWEDE is emerging as an influential force for transformative change, driven by a deep commitment to amplifying the voices of marginalized communities, particularly women/girls and youth.
