Established in 2022, GWEDE is emerging as an influential force for transformative change, driven by a deep commitment to amplifying the voices of marginalized communities, particularly women/girls and youth. By embracing diversity and inclusivity, we seek to drive change across Ethiopia’s communities.

As a forward-thinking, non-profit organization, GWEDE is led by a team of pastoral women who are passionate about tackling Ethiopia’s development challenges. We are committed to addressing humanitarian and development issues while promoting community ownership through the empowerment of women/girls, youth, and other disadvantaged groups.
